Open the CamMeet home page and tap the start button — or go straight to start a match. Allow camera and microphone access when the browser asks, and the room opens as soon as you are paired. The whole thing takes seconds, and no sign-up form stands in front of your first match. If you would rather warm up first, you can begin voice-first and switch the camera on when you feel ready.
Because cam to cam only works when both cameras are live — that is the entire format. The permission request comes from your browser, not from us, and your browser stays in charge of it. You can revoke access at any time from the padlock icon next to the address bar, and CamMeet will simply wait until you allow it again.
Run through this checklist in order — it fixes nearly every case:
Skip ends the current room and opens a new match — use it freely, no explanation owed. Block makes sure that person can never be paired with you again. Report flags the conversation to human moderators, so use it when someone breaks the community guidelines, not just when the chat was boring. All three sit on screen during every call.
Coins are CamMeet's virtual balance. Your first matches are free; coins let you keep a good conversation going beyond the free stretch. You buy them in bundles, and the cost is always shown before you spend. Coins are not money — they cannot be withdrawn, exchanged or transferred. The full rules are in the terms of service.
Free to start, yes — your first matches cost nothing and there is no paywall before your first room. Longer sessions can use coins. Our free cam to cam page lays out exactly where the free part ends so there are no surprises.
No. You can start matching as a guest — that is the point of cam to cam with no sign-up. An optional account is there if you want your coin balance and preferences to follow you across devices, but it is never required to meet someone.
If you created an account, open your settings and use the delete option, or email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will handle it. Deletion removes your profile and any remaining coins — coins are not refunded, as the terms explain. A small amount of security logging is kept briefly for legal and abuse-prevention reasons, then discarded.
Every room is built for exactly two people — no audience, no group chat, no comment scroll. The video and audio of your call are not recorded or saved. We still recommend keeping personal details like your full name, address or workplace to yourself; the privacy policy covers the data side in full.
Email [email protected] with what happened, your device and browser, and a screenshot if you have one. A person will reply within 48 hours — details on the contact page.
